SYPartners invited me to design the Centennial Logo for IBM. I developed a number of concepts and collaborated with Keith Yamashita, SYPartners Founder, to develop a book with the proposals. This project was in conjunction with a broader engagement with SYPartners and IBM. IBM selected one of my directions called Icon’s of Progress. My vision was to transform Paul Rand’s original IBM logo into a 100 and use the zeros to contain innovations from 100 years of IBM’s existence. VSA Partners, who was also a partner with IBM, took the concept and beautifully executed a website, brochure, exhibition, and other promotional materials.
