Bio
I'm a creative leader, designer, and strategist with over 20 years of building the teams, product experiences, and brands of some of the world’s most forward-thinking companies, including Apple, Google, and Amazon.
Most recently, I evolved eBay’s product experience and brand, ground-up. At Amazon, I helped launch Alexa’s first shopping experience on the Echo Show and authored the first unifying design system across all Amazon devices. At Google, I embedded my company with their Brand Studio to launch the new Google Store. And during my three years at Apple, I built the team that re-imagined, designed and launched the Apple Store globally, across all devices.
During my time at leading agencies such as SYPartners, R/GA, Method, Ammunition, Tolleson, and Cahan & Associates, I launched work for IBM, HP, Prada, Nike, Crate & Barrel, Cartoon Network, ABC, Autodesk, Esurance, and Finlandia for example. I have won awards with 365: AIGA Annual; Graphis Annual; Communication Arts Design Annual; One Show Awards; Communication Arts; and I.D. Magazine. I am also a patent holder with Apple and Amazon.
I hold a MFA in Painting from Parsons School of design and a BFA in Studio Art from Oklahoma State University.
When I am not designing, I’m most likely fly fishing, painting, and enjoying the great outdoors with my wife and two young sons.
